Onua FM/TV presenter Captain Smart has asked Ghanaians to bow their heads in shame and apologize to dismissed football personality Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The former President for the Ghana Football Association was suspended after an exposé from ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas released a video that captured him taking bribes to influence some football activities.
Captain Smart this morning on his Onua Maakye show stated that Ghana football is struggling just because of the way Ghanaians and people in high authority dealt with Kwesi Nyantakyi after the exposé.
According to him, football under the Kwesi Nyantakyi administration despite having its flaws was far better than what is happening now.
He continued that the spirit following Kwesi Nyantakyi is dealing with all the people behind his dismissal from all football activities.
Captain Smart added that Kwesi Nyantakyi was being groomed to become the first African to be FIFA president but due to the evil doing of some people, he has lost that opportunity.
The broadcaster mentioned that all those behind the woes of Kwesi Nyantakyi would continue to suffer until the best thing which is apologizing to him is done.
His comment comes following the Blackstar abysmal performance which got them kicked out at the group stage in the ongoing 2021 AFCON.
