Dag Heward Mills, founder and leader of the lighthouse chapel, has come out to say that Ghana is an overly religious country.
He said this because, in his view, most Ghanaians portray too much religiousness however, they have a very poor attitude to foster national development.

Dag Heward-Mills said most Christians who claim to be born again fail to prove it by their actions. He opines that a truly religious country should achieve significant development since its people are upright in their doings.

Most people who claim to be born again are only doing that under the guise of religion, but the truth is, they are not really born again that is why there is no much significant development,” the preacher added.
