It’s irresponsible for Ghana to blame Nigerians for recent crimes -Manifest

Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Kwame Ametepee Tsikata popularly known as Manifest has shared his views on the recent crime rate and kidnapping in Ghana.

According to the ‘No shortcut to heaven‘ hitmaker, it’s irresponsible on the part of the media to blame Nigerians for the crimes in Ghana were Ghanaians are also involved.

The rapper took to Twitter to laments on how Ghanaians are quick to blame Nigerians for crimes were a lot of Ghanaians also do same.

He tweeted; “It’s irresponsible for Ghanaian media to be quick to finger point and headline Nigerians for crime in Ghana, even when Ghanaians are also involved. Crime has no nationality. We want to “other” people who look like us. Complain when it happens to us abroad. DO BETTER.”

This comes after it was reported that 8 people have been arrested in the kidnapping of two Canadian girls at Kumasi on 4th June 2019.

Out of the 8 arrested, 3 are Nigerians living illegally in Ghana and the other 5 are Ghanaians.
