Earlier today Ghpage.com reported that former Black Stars Striker, Junior Agogo had died. It would be recalled that the prolific player had suffered a terrible stroke in 2015. He continued to battle with the stroke for 4 years until he gave up the ghost today in the UK.

Junior Agogo admitted that when he became ill none of his team mates reached out to know how he was fairing. Richard Kingston then reached out to apologize for their terrible behavior.

He continued to battle with the stroke and wasn’t able to properly use his right had (he admitted this himself). He however always kept a cheerful face and hoped for the best as he recuperated.

His last moments on earth were spent battling with the terrible stroke that had struck him.

In one of his posts on Instagram he wrote;

Even though I’ve got a stroke I seen what life is about keep on living I’ve got so much to learn but I’m on the right path”

It is obvious that he was in pain yet he continued to smile and be happy in spite of his pain. RIP Junior Agogo. You will forever be remembered.
