Kennedy Agyapong blames Pentecost Church as the cause of all Ghana problems

Loudmouth politician and member of Parliament representing the people of Assin Central Hon. Kennedy Ohene Aygapong has accused the Church of Pentecost of being the cause of all the problems the country is currently facing.

In a video interview, he made it known that he believes in the Orthodox churches made up of the Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian, Anglican and SDA churches which he referred to as “traditional churches”.

According to the politician, the Church of Pentecost which is noted for praying aloud and as well as in tongues is the cause of the majority of problems Ghana is facing explaining that the new and smaller churches sprung out of the Church of Pentecost.

He noted in the interview that when members who go contrary to the Church of Pentecost principles are sanctioned or punished by the church, they tend to move out to create their own churches which they all started from school’s classrooms.

The honorable member went on to cite an example of his cousin who called him to beg for instruments because he plays on establishing a church.

“My cousin whom I took to America called me early morning at around 5 am, saying he has established a church and wanted me to buy him some instruments and added that immediately he gets the services of three women he is done” he explained. 

Kennedy Agyapong had earlier in a separate interview lashed out at some Ghanaian pastors and their congregation about the way they go about handling some issues.

“What kind of madness is this? I swear to God, I will never lie to you. Is that how it has gotten to. I mean they were chewing the stickers. Is this not stupidity?”..Kennedy Agyapong fumed as he narrated what he saw to the Sources radio host.
