The man now affectionately called Asomdea Hene by Nana Aba is the son of Kofi Amoa-Abban and Letitia. He attended Mfantsipim School in Cape Coast.
Dr. Kofi Amoa-Abban studied Psychology at the University of Ghana further obtained his master’s degree at Oslo University in Norway.

With the discovery of oil in Ghana in 2007, Dr. Kofi Amoa-Abban switched to oil service business and set up his company, Rigworld Group in 2011 in a small office in Osu, Accra.
Currently, Rigworld Group has subsidiaries all over Africa and it is worth millions of dollars. Born in Tema in 1982, Amoa-Abban will be 37 on December 30, 2019.
