It will be recalled that Ghanaian professional wrestler signed to WWE Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah, popularly known as Kofi Kingston a few weeks ago, disclosed his intentions to visit Ghana after 26years in the USA. He shared this a few weeks ago on his Instagram page.

Two weeks ago he wrote on his Instagram page;
”Well it’s officially official. For the first time since 1993, I’m going back to my home country! Though it was 26 years ago, I still have so many vivid memories of my last visit to Ghana. I’m beyond excited to make many more in a few short weeks!”

True to his words, Kofi is on the soil of Ghana as we speak. He arrived today and was given a heroic welcome. His visit is in line with Ghana’s year of return vision. It is to commemorate our forefathers who were shipped off to the Americas and Europe
He was warmly received and a press conference was held to welcome him. He shared his experience; the journey to the becoming the celebrated wrestler. He has presented a plaque to honour his excellence in wrestling.
