By now it is clear Kuami Eugene is probably the future of Ghana’s contemporary highlife music. Within the short time, he has been in the music scene, he has impressed Ghanaians with several bangers.
He has been tipped by many to replace the living legend of Contemporary Highlife music, Daddy Lumba when he retires from the game.
But do you know Kuami Eugene, the “Angela and Confusion” hitmaker, the same artist who has confessed several times that he loves sugar mummies was a Gospel singer and had his own ministry? Well, Ghpage.com will give you all the filla.
Kuami was in his teens when he fell in love with the gospel. He went on to produce several gospel songs including “Nyame Ayebi, Kotodwe Ninaa, Heaven,” and others.

He was so passionate about the word of God that he founded his own ministry at the age of 17 called Eugene Marfo Ministries. So how did pastor Eugene become the Kuami Eugene we know now?
It all started when Kuami Euegen bought forms and was picked for MTN hitmaker Season 5. For whatever reasons best known to him, he switched from the Gospel that he was known for into a full-time highlife singer when he was in the house.
After the show, he was signed unto Richie Mensah’s Lynx Entertainment. I don’t want to judge but am tempted to believe his love for older women “Sugar Mummies” ad the fact that secular music pays better may have contributed to the switch.
