Funeral service was held on Tuesday 12 December 2017 for Clementina Konadu, the only female student of Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) who died from the swine flu outbreak at the school.
Clementina Konadu was one of the 13 students who died at the school from H1NI (Swine flu) outbreak at the Kumasi Academy Senior High School since March this year.
Clementina died at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology a few weeks ago after being infected with the deadly HINI flu

At the time of the mysterious deaths that claimed 13 students and hospitalized many, the cause of the deaths was unknown but the Ministry of Health through several tests finally identified the cause as swine flu and has since put measures in place to curb it.
Clementina Konadu was laid to rest at the funeral grounds in Krofrom, a suburb of Kumasi on Tuesday. Family, friends, and loved ones were present to sympathize with the family.

All present wept uncontrollably when the young 17-year-old girl was brought in a casket ready to be buried.
