Famous Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adjorlolo, has confidently stated that Kumasi is the hub of Ghana’s Movie Industry against Accra after a long debate over which of the two cities in Ghana is the great movie city.
Kofi Adjorlolo has set the record straight that Kumawood is the greater in movie production than that of the productions in Accra.
The ace actor in an exclusive interview with Hammer Nti on Pure FM in Kumasi, stated categorically that whether people like it or not, Kumasi will always be the hub.
Kofi Adjorlolo added that Kumasi will remain the hub as far as film making is concerned in Ghana.
According to him, working in Kumasi comes as an opportunity to meet great people and great talents.
Over the years, there has been a long debate between people in the two cities of Accra and Kumasi over which city is the most renowned in the production of movies.
As some people believe that the movie industry in Accra is the best because film making began there, others are also of the view that Kumawood movie industry saved Ghana from the hands of Nigerians who dominated the market with their movies years back.
Kumawood movie industry henceforth became more relevant before its fall.
