Activities at the Tafo Market in Kumasi, Ashanti Region last Monday came to a standstill when Kumawood’s star actress Emelia Brobbey stormed the place to sell pure water.
Speaking to Radio Univers during the process, the actress cum producer explained that she has recently entered into a sachet water business as reported by Ghpage.com few days ago and she was at the various market places to introduce the market women to “Start Ice Mineral Water”

“I’m at Tafo market now selling water. I’ve parked Start Ice mineral water in my car jumping from one store to the other asking the market women to taste it so that they can buy it.”
Expplaining why she chose “Pure water businesses of all businesses, Emelia explained that she has always wanted to produce a product Ghanaians need on a daily basis and after consultation, she was introduced to the sachet water business.
She also added she aims to give employment to people that will bring daily income to them hence Start Ice mineral.
“I have already employed about twelve people to work with and I believe with time the number will increase. We just started and there is more to do and more people to employ in the coming days.”
