The bride price sighted by Ghpage.com contained figures as high as One Hundred and Fifty Thousand(150,000N) for the mother-in-law alone which its equivalence to cedis is Ghc 2295.94.
In a leaked screenshot of their (man and girlfriend) chat, the man said he could not continue with the relationship due to the extortionate bride price. He also stated that it seemed like her family was trying to sell the young lady.
