Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Honorable Kennedy Agyapong has threatened to expose investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure following his documentary which uncovers the secret deals of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) and exposes the faces behind the illicit sale of government contracts.

The illicit claims came in an investigative documentary conducted by former Multimedia Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, titled “Contracts for Sale.”

According to Ken Agyapong, Manasseh Azure is very corrupt and has no right and does not deserve to bring the name of the PPA boss Agyenim Boateng Adjei to disrepute.

The Assin Central MP explained that he has evidence of the investigative journalist taking bribes and doing reports to tarnish the image of renowned people.

He further explained that PPA does not award contracts neither do they select companies to award a contract or even make final decisions so he cannot sell contracts.

He stated that Manasseh will suffer because he depends on ministers to survive and this documentary will certainly make him suffer.

The outspoken politician further said asserted that Azure is worse than Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
