The Egypt international and Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has been named 2017 Caf African Player of the Year award.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday named Egypt star Mohamed Salah as the 2017 African Player of the Year.
He gunned down fellow finalists such as Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the awards ceremony in Accra.

The 25-year-old footballer joined the English side Liverpool from AS Roma as he scored 17 goals in 21 games.
This is a brief achievementย of Mohammed Salah in the year 2017.
Salah played a key role in Egyptโs Africa Cup of Nations campaign, where they reached the finals. In addition, he was the joint-top scorer – five goals – in the 2018 African World Cup Qualifiers, guiding Egypt to their first FIFA World Cup since 1990; scoring a 94th-minute penalty against Congo to win the match and send Egypt to Russia next summer.ย
However,ย Salah netted 39 goals in 60 official games he played for both clubs and country in 2017.
