Actress Salma Mumin might face legal sanctions by Telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana over her claims that the company has stolen from her MoMo account.
Yesterday 22nd October Salma Mumin took to her Instagram page to allege that staff of MTN Ghana had stolen her GHC10,000 from her merchant mobile money account.
Well, MTN has reacted to her claims with a rejoinder. According to their reply, the claims by Salma are “false and misleading to the public and the poster’s Instagram followers”.
The post added that “as @Salmamumin is very much aware, the said amount was not in her MoMo merchant wallet and no money had been taken from her MoMo merchant wallet as claimed”.
The company has asked Salma to apologize for her blatant lie in the next 24 hours or get sued(face legal action).
It said in its statement that “the apology must state clearly that her claims that MTN Ghana had taken money from her wallet was false and given the same prominence as that of her initial post failing which the business will be compelled to take legal action against her.”
