Adom Fm presenter and host of Adom FM’s morning show Captain Smart has shared his take on the ongoing words banter between Patapaa and Fancy Gadam.
In a radio interview conducted on Hitz Fm, Captain Smart wondered how the Swedru based hiplife artiste Patapaa came by his name and also added that the name(Patapaa) alone can disqualify him from winning any award he is nominated for.

“This Patapaa guy, when did he become Patapaa? Your name alone can disqualify you from winning an award. Why do you call yourself ‘Patapaa’? Patapaa means someone who refuses to regard sensible thoughts.”
Patapaa and Fancy Gadam have been trending in the news ever since the VGMA ended and Fancy’s song “Total Cheat” winning an award for Most popular song of the Year. This infuriated Patapaa who claimed he was robbed and that he rather deserve the award with his “One Corner” song.
