Reports reaching Ghanapage.com indicates that inmates at the Koforidua Prison in the Eastern Region are pleading with the public to provide them with a television set to watch football matches.
According to the inmates, watching football is their only source of entertainment as they do not have access to any kind of sports.

They also stated that due to their inaccessibility of a television set, their passion for football is gradually disappearing.
According to the inmates, watching football matches will reduce depression rate in the prisons since the condition at the prison is nothing to write home about.

The inmates made this known to the Head Pastor of Omega House Chapel of Assemblies of God Church in Koforidua, Prophet Albert Asihene Arjarquah.
This was part of his yearly visit to the prison to dine and donate some items to the prisoners.
