Ghanaian young female disk jockey Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh popularly known as DJ Switch was recently adjourned the Best DJ of the year at the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards.
The nominees for that particular category were senior DJs so it came as a big surprise after the 12-year-old DJ won the award.
Some social media users and entertainment critics opined that DJ Switch does not deserve the award.
However, in an interview, DJ Switch indicated that she won the envious title just by the grace of God.
The young disc jockey also stated that she worked really hard to achieve such greater height and that she deserves every bit of it
DJ Switch also added that she prayed to God for this award and her prayers were answered.
“The other nominees are Senior DJs but I think I got the award because of God. I prayed and talk to my God that I want the Best DJ of the Year and my God granted me the wish”, DJ Switch disclosed.
DJ Switch shot to the limelight after she won the 2017 edition of Talented Kids. She is an entertainer who can sing, rap and dance as well.
