I never dissed Stonebwoy, I only cautioned him – Kumi Guitar explains

First Zylofon Media signee and highlife artist Kumi Guitar in a recent interview after releasing ‘Gyae’ a diss song directed at fellow label mate Stonebwoy has riposted that the track is not a diss song as supposedly thought by fans and the media, but rather a caution to the dancehall act for him to play his role well.

The release of the diss song came after Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah called for peace while indicating his readiness to resolve any indifference.

According to the โ€˜Dreamโ€™ singer, he only hit the studio to record โ€˜Gyaeโ€™ as a way of calling Stonebwoy to order with no hard feelings.

He foresees Stonebwoy’s feud with his record label as bad which is more likely to compromise the source of livelihoods of other musicians signed onto Zylofon Media. On this ground,

โ€œI am only protecting what my colleague, Stone wants to shut down which I might be affected. No hard feelings. If you listen to the song, it is to inform him to play his role well so we all wonโ€™t be affected.โ€ he said.

If this explanation is anything to go by then itโ€™s obvious Kumi Guitar is protecting his job as a musician at Zylofon Media.
