The police and the family of the raped 13-year-old boy is still on the manhunt for the arrest of one Newman Deku an alleged gay organizer in Volta Region specifically Nyive-Ave.
From what the media has been told, Newman Deku fled from the Nyive-Ave community in the Volta Region of Ghana after he was declared wanted for arranging the raping of a minor in the Nyive-Ave and also influencing gay activities, something the community frowns upon
BACKGROUND
In late October 2017 news broke that a Germany missionary, Alexander Börn nickname shepherd has allegedly raped a 13-year-old Muslim boy from the Nyive-Ave community in the Volta Region of Ghana.
According to the reports, the incident occurred on 15th October 2018. The boy upon interrogation mentioned one Komla Avle as the person who led him to the missionary.
When Komla Avle was arrested, he confessed that they are a gang of men who organize men for gay partners in the community and the leader of the gang was named Newman Deku. He also mentioned the names of other members of the organization (some have since been arrested and some dead)
The police swooped in to have Newman Deku arrested but he had fled and he has never been found since that day.
Checks at the police district headquarters revealed that they have no idea where Newman Deku has fled to. The German Germany missionary, Alexander Börn nickname shepherd has also fled the town and can not be located.
Since the issue came up, we have gathered almost all the members of the town who have been arrested have been lynched some to their death.
Currently, the parents of the young boy [Name Witheld] have promised a cash price for anyone who can give information leading to the arrest of Newman Deku who is regarded as the gang leader.
Our reporter has confirmed that even the innocent family of Newman Deku has not been left alone. They are consistently being harassed by the Muslim community where the boy hails from.
The police have entreated anybody who knows the whereabouts of Newman Deku to come forward with the news to help put him behind bars.
They are also pleading with anyone with information to come them with information and not to the community, something which will lead to the death of Newman Deku if the community finds out where he is.
