Husband of Joyce Blessing, Dave Joy has revealed that his ‘wife’ Joyce Blessing claiming that they are currently divorced is false.
According to Dave, speaking with Sammy Flex on ZylofonFm, he’s not divorced from Joyce Blessing and the renowned gospel singer is still his wife.
Dave Joy said that as far as he’s concerned he’s still married because no family member of Joyce has served him any divorce papers or returned his drinks to him as is needed traditionally to revoke a union.
“Joyce Blessing is still my wife. There are no divorce papers, no family member has presented any drinks to annul the union,” he’s reported to have said.
Joyce Blessing on the same show said that she is currently single and not attached to any man.
His comments come as Joyce Blessing’s former publicist, Julie Jay, is fighting her publicly.
Julie Jay in a lengthy statement cast allegations that Joyce Blessing said she was no happier in her marriage and wanted to leave and then cheated on her husband with her gym instructor.
She added that Joyce’s claim that her ex-husband is sabotaging her career is false.
Meanwhile, Dave Joy is also denying categorically that their marriage is even over.
