The founder and leader of God’s way church Angel Bishop Daniel Obinim has vowed to continue having consultations for his church members despite the ban by the President Nana Akuffo Addo to suspend all church activities for the next 4 weeks.

The president last Sunday announced that due to the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus his government has placed measures in place so the outbreak can be minimized.

Measures put in place by the government include the closure of all schools around the country until further notice, suspension of all church and mosque activities for the next four weeks and suspension of all public gatherings.

Though the directives were applauded by many, some pastors have lashed out at the President for suspending them and allowing night clubs to work asking how they are going to survive since they all rely on church money.

Angel Obinim who is one of such pastors has revealed that he is not going to stop having a consultation with his church members adding that he needs to make money to pay his workers and take care of other bills.

“The President has said social gatherings have been canceled for a month. Jesus take the wheel…we came here because of the announcement by the President and we have no problem with his directive. My problem is the sick persons we pray for to get well. Our worry is how to cater for all these persons even though we can all pray in our individual homes”, he revealed on his channel.

He added that though he will obey the President’s directives, he will still be having one-on-one consultation for all those that need his assistance.

“I will engage in emergency counselling services in my churches. But we will not congregate, pray or conduct healing services as has always been the case. Everyone who comes for counselling must take a card so that the accrued money could be used to pay for the cost of the television channel”

“If you do not want me to engage on the counselling to raise money to cater cost television channel, then I will shut the station because I pay about $8,000 monthly” he concluded.
