Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has stated that Ghanaโs independence fought by the late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was needles citing Nelson Mandelaโs South Africa as an example.
According to the self-acclaimed dancehall king,ย the long stay of the British in South Africa contributed to their enviable development comparable to Ghana who protested against colonial rule. In a Facebook live, the โGringoโ hitmaker posited that;

โSee black man. Black man no dey fit keep e own things well. You go white man e country, you go see things. Go see South Africa. Mandela said โlet the white people stay here and do their work..โ
Although Dr Kwame Nkrumah and his associates wanted the best for Ghanaians, itโs unfortunate that everything is messed up right after his tenure.
