Pastors don’t actually have the authority to conduct marriages – Rev. Obofour

Since time immemorial, it has been the norm for pastors to officiate christian marriage ceremonies however leader and founder of Anointed Palace Chapel (A.P.C), Rev. Obofour opines that biblically it is not the place of pastors to conduct marriages.

The controversial preacher has  declared that according to the bible, no pastor has the right to officiate any marriage as it is not their place.

Rev. Obofour opines that it only the parents of the couple  have the prerogative to agree to marriages not pastors.

He concluded by saying the erroneous sysyem of pastors conducting marriages emanates from the weak Ghanaian family system. He is certain that due to the above stated opinion that pastors have assumed the authority of conducting marriages.
