Bees have attacked some residents of Fetteh Kakraba in the Central Region of Ghana, leaving one person unconscious and others injured.
The victims of the bee sting were said to have been attacked in their various homes.
Speaking to Adom FM, the Zonal NADMO Coordinator for Gomoa Budumburam, Ernest Panin Koomson, explained the circumstances that led to the attack, said it was caused by an eleven-year-old boy who threw stones at the bees in their natural habitat in protest of being prevented from playing football by his colleagues.
According to him, about 30 people were playing football on a nearby park but during the game, the boy approached the coach and asked that he is allowed to take part in the game but the coach prevented him, saying he was too young.

To register his anger for not being allowed to play with his colleagues, the boy went to the beehive and threw stones at the bees, resulting in the attack on homes around the football park.
The boy himself fled the scene but about eleven residents who were attacked are injured with one other person in the state of unconscious.
