It came as a surprise when Shatta Wale severed ties with one of his most trusted Shatta Militants, Pope Skinny after the duo were rumoured to have had a terrible misunderstanding. The rumours suggested that as aresult of the misunderstanding, Shatta Wale deemed it necessary to part ways with Pope Skinny.
Announcing this Shatta Wale took to his Facebook to write;
“After this video I accepted you guys and now you came back with a mind to really fuck up my shatta movement .No wonder they never wanted people to come close to me ,I mean people who got love ..People forget so soon… my people beware of people you forgive when people say do…Listen to yourself and don’t trust and make nobody make your decision for you… God forgives us so I tried to forgive but little did they know I also had a back-up plan… Beware of stone, Bone, blade, good over evil and pope skinny… They will never be part of my Journey anymore… Anything they come out to say is fabricated. God guide me and my militants”
Shatta failed to detail the exact reason for their split. Pope Skinny however in a recent interview has revealed the cause of the misunderstanding resulting him to part ways with Shatta Wale.
According to Pope Skinny all the negative things Shatta Wale said about him are untrue. He added that always played the role of a peacemaker each time had Shatta Wale had a problem. He also said that he is still in disbelief that their friendship ended in such a sour manner. He reiterated that he still loved Shatta Wale
He said;
“There can never be a friend like Pope Skinny in Shatta Wale’s life. I love my guy. I show am so much love. I never wrong am in anyway. He just get problem with his brother and he knows that Pope Skinny is the one that will beg for that brother. “So he say I for clear Pope Skinny,”
