An event organizer is of the view that self-acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale shouldn’t be paid the amount he charges per show because his fans are only able to pay 5gh as gate fee to watch him perform.
Kojo Preko Nyarko who was the event organizer for Shatta Wale’s show in Kwahu which attracted a little over 31 people revealed that from what he experienced after the flopped Kwahu event, has now come to realize Shatta Waleโs fans are mostly JHS, SHS and those on the street who do not have money to pay huge amount of money as gate fees.

According to him, Shatta movement fans can only afford between GHยข5 and GHยข20 or in some cases want free entry to watch him per his experience at Kwahu.
When the host of Abusua Entertainment suggested Shattaโs fans are not persons who can afford the said ticket prices, Kojo Preko agreed saying โI will say yes you are right to say maybe in terms of paying ticket of GHยข 50 and GHยข 80 Shattaโs fans canโtโ.
โThis is because when it comes to Shattaโs people they might be 18 years or below or 20 years who would want to pay GHยข20, GHยข 30 GHยข 15 or GHยข 5 and all that. That I agree with you and of course moving forward as event organizers we will have to check all those things.โ he concluded.
