I helped Shatta Wale gain VGMA recognition – Pope Skinny

Ghanaian hiplife artiste cum radio presenter Asuodengod formerly Pope Skinny has stated that he was one of the forces behind Shatta Wale that helped him gain VGMA recognition.

The Akuapim rapper who we reported having left the camp of Shatta Wale’s Shatta Movement after the self acclaimed dancehall king failed to make him blow disclosed this to Sokoohemaa Kukuaa on Rainbow Radio.

According to him, Shatta Wale was nominated for the first time in VGMA after he interviewed him on his show Adom Fm “Kasahari Level” some years ago.

“Shatta Wale was taken really serious after I hosted him on my show years ago. The interview shot Shatta Wale to greater heights. He gained recognition at the VGMAs for the first time after several failed attempts after that interview.”

Pope Skinny who has now come back to his senses after realizing he has wasted his time following Shatta Wale is currently on radio tours making some controversial statements all in the name of rebranding his personality as a musician and preparing himself to reap some wealth off the music.
