George Quaye who is the PRO for event organizing company Charter House has opened up for the first time about why he left Nana Appiah Mensah’s Menzgold just after joining them for some few weeks.
Somewhere last year George Quaye joined NAM 1’s gold investment company Menzgold as their PRO but some few days after he joined them, the investment company started having issues with the Bank of Ghana(BoG) and Security and Exchange Commission (SEC).
When the workers were throwing their support behind the boss NAM 1, George Quaye immediately resigned from the company something which made people question why he would do that.

Some people where also of the view that he joined the company to enjoy Nana Appiah Mensah’s money but since the company has started facing challenges it means he was not going to enjoy hence his decision to leave.
After some months George Quaye has come out to explain why he left the company saying he was afraid because he and his family were threatened by some angry customers of Menzgold.
He said “The several threats coming from customers to me and my family made me pull out of Menzgold. I could not afford to put my family through such threats and not have the assurance they would be safe. It is a stretch when what you want to do is beginning to affect the lives of people that are dear to you”.
