Reports emerging according to upi.com indicate that an unnamed man has paid for a brand new BMW worth $11,000 entirely with coins.
A car dealership in Putian City, Fujian Province, had to close on the afternoon of 17 December so its employees could count the huge number of coins.
The Chinese man came in with coins packed in 10 large boxes which employees had to use almost the entire floor of the dealership to ascertain the amount.

The dealership’s owner, however, said the man had apparently saved the coins over a period of time before finally deciding to buy a BMW car.
