Captain fantastic, Asamoah Gyan aka Baby Jet has requested to play for the Blackstars of Ghana one more time in Qatar for the 2022 Worldcup.
In an interview with BBC’s John Bennett, Gyan admitted he is not fully fit at the moment and is working hard to be in a good shape.

“Anything can happen, it has happened before back in 1994 when Roger Milla came back from retirement to play in the World Cup,” – He said in a part of the interview.
In a new video that has been spotted on social media just hours after Asamoah Gyan’s interview, the 36-year-old former Black stars captain can be seen seriously working out to get his body back in shape.
The former Sunderland skipper is hoping for the opportunity to make amends after his penalty miss at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa against Uruguay.

Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have expressed that Asamoah Gyan shouldn’t be added to this Blackstars squad because he has passed his prime; Therefore young talents should also be given the opportunity to play for the country.
