COVID-19: 17 persons fully recovered from coronavirus in Ghana

In as much as there are fear and tension in the country as a result in the surge in numbers of positive cases of the COVID-19, there is also a little but impressive rise in the number of recoveries that the populace should be in the know.

As of today 14th, April 2020, 17 persons who were infected with the coronavirus have fully recovered from the coronavirus, – reports.

Dr Patrick Aboagye, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service revealed that 17 persons have tested negative twice proving that they have fully recovered.

He explained that; Currently, we have a definition of recovered as those who are positive and have recorded consecutive negative [tests]

Further in his report, 83 people are in recovery status with 66 people in treatment already having tested negative for the virus once.

Two hundred and eight of the infected persons are well and in mild condition with two who remain critically ill.

Currently, Ghana has recorded 566 cases with 8 deaths and now 17 recoveries. More soon…
