Ahmed Hussein-Suale last Whatsapp message predicts his death

A new report has emerged that Ahmed Hussein-Suale, the partner of Anas Aremeyaw Anas who was shot dead on Wednesday night by unknown assailants may have known of the impending doom and had even thrown more light on the prominent people who were behind it.

According to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), an independent, nonprofit organization that promotes press freedom worldwide, Ahmed feared for his life when he was alive and spoke about it.

According to CPJ, Ahmed raised concerns after the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong leaked his pictures that his life was in dangers.

According Ahmed in WhatsApp message shared into a journalist platform on Whatsapp, he feared for his life because prominent people were after his life since his face became known.

In fact, Ahmed added that he has received reports the same person who leaked his pictures, Kennedy Agyapong has disclosed to people in private he will end his life.

The message from Ahmed to the Whatsapp platform reads:

“Since my image was published and [the] public was incited against me […] many people have attempted [to attack me]. These criminals after us are people who are […] associated with powers that be in Ghana and can do anything and get away with it.”

“Indeed, it [has] been hinted in some quarters that the very man who published [my image] said he was doing everything possible to quell [my] existence.”

Ahmed, a Tiger Eye PI worker was shot dead late Wednesday 17th January 2019 by two assailants on a motorbike. At the peak of Kennedy Agyapong and Anas’ banter and counter-accusations, Kennedy Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central showed the face of Ahmed as someone who works closely with Anas.

Since news of Ahmed’s death hit the media, some section of Ghanaians has accused Kennedy Agyapong of causing Ahmed’s death. They lay their arguments on the fact that Kennedy Agyapong exposed him and set him up for attack from aggrieved people.
