Hollywood actor, Michael Jai White since his return to the United States has been repeatedly sharing the experience he gathered during his visit to Ghana and how it has changed his earlier perception about Africa.
The popular Hollywood star sharing his exploit has also taken the opportunity to elaborate his fellow blacks about their uneducated perception of Ghana and Africa as a whole.

According to Michael who revealed on social media during their stay in Ghana that he and his wife’s DNA test clearly shows they were from West Africa and Ghana to be precise, Black Americans need to discard their old knowledge about Africa and embrace the unique Africa he himself has discovered.

He further revealed in his post that, Africa is not about slavery and people starving in a jungle as they were made to understand but Africa entails a lot more than what they have in their mind.
The Martial Art expert added that they the Black Americans call themselves as Blacks but have clearly disconnected themselves from the African continent.
He continued to educate his folks more on what Africa is all about by revealing that Africa involves people who are really educated and endowed with emersed different languages than he ever thought.
Section of his post read: “Hell…we American blacks are SUPPOSED to think negatively about connecting to our homeland because that’s how we were conditioned to think! We’re SUPPOSED to think; all Africa was, was slavery when only an extremely small portion of the continent was even involved in the slave trade. We’re SUPPOSED to see Africa as starving people and jungles. We may call ourselves African Americans but we are truly disconnected from Africa. I say WE because I’m not excluded!”

Michael Jai White also revealed in the same post that it is far more relevant for him to be made a chief in Ghana than to be knighted by England’s Queen Elizabeth, a statement he made to express his appreciation to the people of Akwamu.
