The much-awaited video premiere of an investigative work by journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, which started airing on Wednesday at the Accra International Conference Center.
It follows three weeks of anxious waiting by Ghanaians whose attention had been heightened by President Akufo Addo, who – after being shown portions of the video in advance – reported the GFA boss to the Police CID for alleged defrauding by false pretenses.
Kwesi Nyantakyi in the Anas video said he “knows for a fact” that President Akufo Addo sold his properties to win the elections, so his family is very broke.
He continued “His brothers are always asking for money, therefore, the $5m bribe will ease the burden”. To this, he demanded 5 million dollars to let investors through.
So to show they(investors) are serious, they offered Kwesi 65,000 dollars which he quickly packed them into his bag. Very swift you could see.
