I’ll choose Strongman over Medikal any day – Akwaboah

SarkCess Music signee and popular songwriter, singer and instrumentalist, Akwaboah has reacted to Medikal-Strongman beef taking side with Strongman over AMG’s Medikal.

Strongman and Medikal for the past three days have made Ghana the most interesting country to live in taking into consideration the back-to-back diss songs they released against each other.

The ‘Hye me Bo’ hitmaker in an interview with Zionfelix on his Uncut show made it clear that he will choose Strongman over Medikal any day considering the relationship he has with the former label mate.

According to him, aside Strongman being his friend and former label mate, the Strong Empire boss’ rap prowess was on point in all the diss songs he released to attack Medikal.

When he was inquired from Zionfelix whether he would have allowed Strongman to go all out to diss Medikal if he was his artiste, Akwaboah in a quick reply answered in the affirmative and explained that beef is part of rap culture so he sees nothing wrong with what his former label mate did.

He further advised both artists not to take the beef ‘World Cup’ because it is just a game to entertain their fans.

This lyrical beef all began when Medikal set tongues wagging after he recklessly declared himself the saviour of Ghana rap music. Medikal alleged that when he entered the Ghana rap scene, it was dying until he revived it with his rap. This blasphemous statement sparked an outrage amongst rap music lovers and artists, which includes Strongman. In response to his critics, he released ‘To Whom it May Concern’ on Friday.
