Ghanaian gospel diva, Obaapa Christy has exclusively revealed what happened when she met legendary Ghanaian musician born Charles Kwadwo Fosu but popularly known as Daddy Lumba for the first time.
As recounted by Obaapa Christy, she was braiding her hair in a saloon at Sofoline (Kumasi) when one of the hairdressers told her a visitor was waiting for her outside.

She initially thought it was an old friend or one of her numerous die-hard fans – So she decided to go out and meet him/her and probably exchange pleasantries in the process but to her utmost surprise, it was Daddy Lumba.
According to Obaapa Christy, Daddy Lumba paid her the surprise visit just to express his love and admiration for her unmatched musical talent.
Going deep into the conversation that transpired between them, she also revealed that at one point, the popular musician threatened to “BEAT HER” if she ever responded to conversations around her then “unsuccessful marriage”.
The gospel songstress added that she still considers this to be one of the happiest and most unforgettable days of her entire life.
She further expressed her gratitude to Daddy Lumba in the course of the live interview on ATINKA FM with Roman Fada.
