Over the years we have seen strong fan base emerging from the camp of some our top stars in the country the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini, etc are considered to be some artiste with a huge number of fan base.
These fans can go to any extent to make their favorite artiste succeed even if it sometimes might lead to death.
As the Vodafone Music Awards is just at the corner, artistes nominated have started calling on their fans to vote for them to enable them to win in the categories that they are nominated.

Well, Tamale based superstar Maccasio who fan base is the 69 Fans Army has in an interview on TV3 revealed that one of his fans has sold his television set and used the money to vote so he(Maccasio) can win an award at this year’s VGMA.
“My people are voting, someone sold his television set to vote for me, every day thousands of votes, people are sending me money sending me credit to give people to vote,” he said.

As it stands, he’s confident that fans are solidly voting for him just that he’s worried about the 60% vote which comes from the VGMA Board.
This year’s VGMA is set to come off on 18th May 2019.
