It seems it’s now a war between the ruling NPP and the opposition NDC ever since Kojo Oppong Nkrumah threw caution to the wind and used ‘Papa No’ in a statement while addressing parliament.
NDC activist, Dzifa Gunu in an attempt to prove no man will stand righteous in matters of morality has leaked an alleged photo of a high ranking member of the NPP to equalize the playing field.

Dzifa Gunu alleged the man in the photo is the Deputy Communication Minister and Member of Parliament for Awutu-Senya West Constituency, Hon. George Andah.
In the photo, the man had a woman panty around his neck. Dzifa Gunu claims the man was telling the girlfriend how much he loves her and the claim that he despises his own wife.
Before sharing the photo, Dzifa Gunu posted on his Facebook page to excite his thousands of followers:
“We dealing with the small ones first, the big fish will be ready for frying soon George Nenyi Andah! Do you remember this day, and what you said about your wife? See you at 12noon”.
When the appointed time was finally up, the controversial NDC figure posted on his Facebook page again:
We are back. Is that a lady’s panty around his neck? Do you remember why you had to wear the dirty panty around your neck that afternoon, and where? And what you said about your wife to her? Watch out for the video at 3.00 pm.

It all started when the Member of Parliament for Ofoasi Ayiriebi who also doubles as the Minister of Information, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah used the popular social media terms, “Papa No” in parliament.
On Friday 14th August 2020, Kojo who was making a counter-argument against the minority caucus in parliament said:
“Mr. Speaker, I want to encourage my colleagues on the other side. I want to encourage my good friend who just spoke (John Jinapor). In my hometown, we will say, ‘Papa no.’ ‘Papa no.’ I want to encourage ‘Papa no’ to take some time and follow the structure of this conversation and support.”
The Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu took serious offense to the statement from Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and asked him to retract and apologize to Parliament for the wrong choice of words.
But social media quickly caught on and it became a major issue on social media. Whiles NPP sympathizers were trolling the opposition, the opposition was hitting back!.
Meanwhile, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has explained why he used the popular terms in his speech in parliament. According to Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, he used the word in jest and never meant to offend anyone with his outburst.
He, therefore, called on the First Deputy Speaker who was presiding over Parliament at the time of the incident to expunge his comment from the records.
“Mr. Speaker, earlier, I was trying to catch your eye to request that the use of my expression which caused apprehension on the other side be expunged from the record. I didn’t mean it to offend anybody. It was in jest. And if anybody took offense to it, the records should reflect that it’s been expunged”, The Member of Parliament for Ofoasi Ayiriebi said.
Well, it seems not only Tracey Boakye, Mzbel, and Gloria Kani who originated the term will suffer the troll. Major political figures are already taking direct and stray bullets.
