It appears the host of the AFCON 2019, the Pharaohs of Egypt are not taking their defeat to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa lightly.
The President of the Egyptian Football Association Hany Abou-Rida has resigned from his position following Egypts’ defeat to South Africa.

Few hours after Bafana Bafana of South Africa kicked Egypt out of the competition, Hany Abou-Rida wrote his resignation letter and handed it to over to his superiors.
Before resigning from his position, Hany Abou-Rida made sure somethings were in place before he left his position.
He started by firing the Coach of Pharaohs of Egypt, Javier Aguirre for leading the team to an early exit at just the Round 16th stage.
The housing cleaning did not end with coach Javier Aguirre, Hany Abou-Rida also fired the entire staff of the national football team.

The Pharaohs of Egypt were aiming for “host and win”. This would have been their 8th championship title but the Bafana Bafana of South Africa said no; enough is enough.
