Two halls in Accra Academy were destroyed by fire as reported on Wednesday 15th January 2020. Over a hundred students were displaced as a result of the late-night fire.

Reports reaching us indicate that another dormitory at Accra Academy has been ravaged by fire for the second time in about two weeks after the first incident.
The dormitory in the Bubiashie-based boys’ school, Alema Hall, has been completely ravaged by the fire, according to eyewitnesses who were at the scene of the fire.
It is believed that a man of God saw this coming and quickly reported to the school authorities but the school authorities turned deaf ears to his revelations and yet it has happened.
