9 New Cases: Ghana’s Coronavirus cases rise to 214

Ghana has recorded 9 new cases of the novel coronavirus bringing the total number as of today 5th April 2002 to 214, Ghpage.com confirms.

According to the Ghana Health Service, 6 of the 9 cases were recorded in the Greater Accra Region and the remaining 3 were recorded in Ashanti Region.

Explaining further GHS revealed one of the cases in the Greater Accra Region is of a 37-year-old woman who has no travel history. There is also no record that she has come into contact with a confirmed Coronavirus patient.

One of the 3 confirmed cases in the Ashanti Region also has a patient who has no travel history and had not come into contact with another confirmed case.

As of now, the statistics stand at 214 confirmed cases, 5 deaths, and 31 confirmed recovery cases.
