UK based Ghanaian world-renowned Gospel singer Sonnie Badu has hit hard at the youth of Ghana following the response and bashing he received some days ago after he said Kotoka International Airport should be renamed after Kwame Nkrumah.
According to the Wonder God singer, he believes Ghana woes would come to an end if the airport is renamed after the first president of Ghana Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
After his comment, many social media users, as usual, took to social media to bash him for making such a statement when in actual fact there were a lot more pressing issues he could have commented about.

But in his reaction, he took time out to address and clarify his statement whiles bashing Ghanaian youth over their attitude on social media.
He stated that Ghanaian youth with no electricity and small data on their phone wonโt do anything productive with their lives but rather come on social media to attack celebs.
โWhat are we doing as the youth of Ghana?. I am working hard to put Ghana on the map, to put Africa on the map, you get a youth who has a little credit left on their phone and they quickly text insults quick insults. Yet they probably donโt have lights at home, instead of them to ask how are you doing up there, how can we get there?, they are quick to do it and insult.

โRight now I travel a lot, Ghanaians who break through they donโt want to be called Ghanaians. Ghanaians who have broken through they will tell you if you want to prosper donโt make Ghanaians your friends. Churches that have broken through and the pastor is Ghanaian, 85% of the members are not Ghanaian members. Because Ghanaians will go to the church and they will pull it down, things they havenโt seen they will tell you they have seen, things they havenโt heard they will tell you they have heard.โ
