I Keep ‘Marijuana/’Wee’ In My House To Entertain My Visitors – Rapper Edem

Ghanaian Hiplife musician, Denning Edem Hotor well-known as Edem has surprisingly revealed that he has been keeping ‘Marijuana’ called ‘wee’ in the local tongue in his house just to welcome his visitors.

Edem disclosed that he has never in his life tasted the ‘weed’ before but he keeps the forbidden substance in his home to satisfy his friends who visit him.

The legalization of the ‘smoke herbs’(wee) in Ghana has become a debate among the public as well as some musicians.

Dancehall artiste, Samini has been among the many Ghanaians promoting the outlawed substance to be legalized to boost Ghana’s poor economy.

Speaking in an interview with Gatuso on Kasapa FM’s ‘Aben Wo Ha’ show the ‘Nyedzilo’ hitmaker affirmed that he does not smoke Marijuana but only keeps a smaller quantity of the substance to entertain his visitors.

“I no dey smoke wee but wee dey my house… I just no dey sell am. It just be small quantity wey boys come them for just fire…Policeman dey fire, Soldier dey fire, let’s not be hypocritical,” Edem said.

According to a UN report in June 2017. Ghana is currently the first in Africa and third in the world when it comes to the usage of Marijuana.
