Reports reaching us is that Shatta Wale has been re-arrested after he was released from detainment this morning. This, however, is unverified.
He could be have been arrested to aid the police in the on-going investigations into the fracas that occurred at the VGMA this weekend.

The VGMA was brought to a standstill after Shatta Wale and his Militants stormed the VGMA stage as Stonebwoy was receiving his award. This caused Stonebwoy to pull out a gun which caused the patrons of the event to take to their heels to avoid a stray bullet should Stonebwoy fire the gun.
Multiple people fleeing the scene caused a pandemonium which resulted in a number of casualties.
The incident is still being investigated by the Ghana police, they would be charged accordingly when the investigation is concluded.
