Stacy Offei Darko died on 21st May 2018 at the Obengfo Clinic in Weija, Accra. After she went there to undergo a lipo surgery to reshape her figure. Obengfo Clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Dominic Obeng-Andoh.
According to the police report, Dr. Dominic Obengfo-Andoh after the death of Stacy Offei deposited her body at a morgue for 3-4 days without informing any family member.
A cleaner at the Clinic, Edward Amponsah stood in as the family member of the Stacy when she was deposited at the morgue.

As at yesterday, Dr. Obeng and Edward Amponsah appeared before a magistrate court judge in Accra who remanded them. The Doctor was charged with murder whiles the cleaner was charged with impersonation.
Ghpage.com reported that the late Deputy Chief Executive Officer for National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP), Miss Stacy Offei Darko was in a relationship with Hon Kennedy Agypong, the MP for Assin North in the Central Region. The mother of the late Stacy has confirmed our report.
According to Nana Akosua Animah the mother of Stacy, Kennedy Agyapong, in fact, has a child with Stacy Offei and he filed the complaint leading to the arrest of Dr. Obeng-Ando who has now been charged with murder.
