Tema based rapper Kwesi Arthur has called on the Akuffo Addo led administration to create more jobs for the youth since most of them are still jobless.
The Ground-up chale front man speaking in an interview with Accra-based Class 91.3 Fm was asked by the host that if given the chance to tell the President of the one thing, what would it be about to which he responded “I’ll just want him to create more [job] opportunities for the youth… I think the boys need more jobs”.
He went on and added that “…I know people with so much potential, I can mention five footballers that I know in my neighbourhood who could have done so much in playing football but unfortunately, things are not in the right place to even play football at the highest level…”

He added that everyone is given equal opportunity and it shouldn’t look like only the rich in society have opportunities whiles the poor are left to their fate.
“It shouldn’t be like if you don’t have money, you cannot do anything, it shouldn’t be like that”.
Kwesi Arthur further urged the government to invest in young entrepreneurs.
“I think the government should also give money to entrepreneurs to set up their own businesses and pay later. I’m not saying that’s the best option but that will help in a certain way because I know people have business ideas but they don’t have the capital and when you go to the bank for a loan, that one too is something else…”
