Medikal wanted by Police over fake Fella 18 -18 number plate

The Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) is set to arrest rapper, Medikal over the fake number plate on the Audi A8 he bought and registered for actress Fella Makafui on Friday, November, 23,2018.

In one of the brand new customized Audi A8 car, the number plate Fella-18-18 was reported to be fake as the licence plate does not exist.

According to reports that surfaced on various social media platforms after Medikal surprised Fella with a new car suggest that Medikal didnā€™t buy a brand new car for Fella Makafui as we are already informed.

However, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) on Saturday revealed that there is no registration number FELLA 18-18 in their database which earlier confirmed that the car wasn’t brand new after all.

Meanwhile, new development coming through is that the MTTD which is an agency under the Ghana Police Service and responsible for road safety in Ghana in collaboration with road safety stakeholders such as Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) is set to arrest the Medikal for placing a number plate FELLA 18-18 which is not in the database of the DVLA on the Audi A8 he gifted Fella Makafui last Friday.

The MTTD of the Ghana Police Service and the DVLA over the years have alerted the public of emerging fake car number plates in the system issuing a caution that the police would arrest anyone found with the fake number plates and face prosecution as directed by the law.
