The head of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service led by the DCOP Tiwaa Addo-Danquah today held a press conference to brief Ghanaians on the scandal involving the CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 which led to his arrest in Dubai.
According to the CID boss, Nana Appiah Mensah was granted bail by a Dubai Court on 25th March 2019 after the lawyers were able to convince the judge NAM1 deserved a bail.

However, DCOP Tiwaa Addo-Danquah explained that Nana Appiah Mensah was rearrested by the Dubai police and kept in custody by the order of Interpol.
According to the CID Boss, the Interpol told the police to keep NAM1 in custody until the case is finally settled by a judge.
DCOP Tiwaa Addo-Danquah stated that Nana Appiah Mensah is still in jail in Dubai as he speaks and the Ghana Police Service is following the court case.

At the same press briefing, the CID boss revealed the main suspect in Tiger Eye journalist, Ahmed Suale’s death has been remanded. He was arrested after the police interrogated 13 suspected men in Ahmed Suale’s death.
