After the death of late dancehall sensation, Ebony Reigns, a lot of controversies has surrounded her death, music, royalties and in the centre of all these controversies is her father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng who has now become a media sensation not because he was her father but because of his support for her and the feud he has with former manager, Bullet.
His feud with Bullet, however, started irritating people as the allegations he made against the CEO of Rufftown Records were soo damning in interviews he granted

Due to these constant attacks and regular tv and radio appearances, Ghanaians who felt he was milking his daughter’s death to become popular; thus giving him the nickname ‘Starboy Kwarteng’.
According to reason given, he wanted to become a star so badly.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Showbiz, Nana Opoku Kwarteng revealed in relation a question to ascertain whether he was okay with the nickname that he had officially accepted the name.
“Oh I am ok with the name; I think it is something I like. The word star alone is something anyone would want to associate him or herself with so it is fine by me.”

“Again, you cannot fight the media or anyone; if they want to call you by a name, they will no matter what you do. In this life, the more you tell people you do not want something, the more they do it so it is fine with me, I accept it,” he said.
